I agree. I hesitate asking some important questions in class because of what others may think or say in response. I have been able to ask GPT all the 'stupid' questions with no social repercussions. I also notice that human tutors don't have much patience and if I don't understand the explanation that they give, which is often, then it is suggested through my own thoughts that I should stop trying to learn. GPT does not judge and I can ask it to clarify in ways that tutors are not able to, giving me the confidence to continue. I predict that students will all be assigned a personalized AI tutor in the future that their instructors will be able to parse in some way.<p>It seems people who are anti-AI must also be anti-learning to some degree; if you can't learn without AI then you don't deserve to learn!
