The fact that people are willing to pay more for AI features shows that consumer priorities are shifting and it's a good opportunity for Apple to increase its services revenue.<p>That being said as a Pixel phone user I'm still not sure what exactly is available for consumers vs. what was promised a year ago. I tried to look at my wife's impression of her iPhone 16 and Apple Intelligence and it seems nothing deeply changed on her workflows.<p>Some examples of workflows that I'm constantly using from flagship Android with Gemini Assistant:<p>- Circle to search to search for products on an image or a location<p>- Summarize youtube videos<p>- Summarize the page you're looking at on Chrome<p>- Create events on your calendar with multimodal input (could be a web page on Chrome or a photo with some event details like a gig poster or a letter with some appointment written into it)<p>From what I can see Apple is still not there yet almost a year after the first Apple Intelligence announcement.
