Stack Overflow is rolling out AI generated answers

Funny.
I was recently doing some JavaScript programming, which I haven't done for a while. My search results were full of usual slop, with reams of overly verbose context and restatements of the question finally (sometimes) leading to a possible answer several pages in.
By contrast, Stack Overflow, while perhaps a little dated in its content, was relatively succinct, and overall was a much better source of information. Ultimately, "mdn" was the solution to my search quality, but I'd still sometimes fall back to SO for different perspectives.
I said to a colleague that I thought SO actually had a goldmine of valuable information there, and if only they could hold out until the AI hype passed, they'd reap the benefits.
