The level of data collection described in the article (I didn’t spot much detail, only that it’s more than is immediately obvious) is:<p>A. completely expected from Chinese software B. Seemingly on par with the likes of any US big-tech firm<p>Overall, I would say “ho-hum” who would have expected US officials to call for a ban on DeepSeek app??

Man the hit pieces keep coming. Trying to convince everyday Americans to distrust a different country and unequivocally trust their own. This kind of propaganda won’t last forever.

Everyone saying that US and Chinese companies both do this therefore it&#x27;s the same probably think that a lumberjack and a serial killer who both happen to be standing in front of them wielding an axe are threats of equal merit.
