I’ve been building Audio Brevity for about a year to tackle my podcast overload and news addiction. It started as a simple email interface and has since expanded.
I’m experimenting with RAG/vector search across podcasts, and I’m curious about perspectives from both podcasters and listeners.
You can also ‘ask’ an episode questions—whether you’re looking for specific answers, a study guide, or whatever you’d like. It’s pretty handy.
It’s also fantastic for sharing episodes with your friends (https://audiobrevity.com/share/Tcrwj0dFKe), but I’m curious how people might use it. Would podcasters want to auto-summarize episodes and generate shareable links by default?
If you need more episodes or tokens to experiment beyond what’s given for free, let me know—I’m happy to help.
Would love feedback! People seem to like it, but I’m curious how others beyond my circle would use or want to use it.
Tech stack: - Laravel (Livewire mostly) - Postgres (pgvector ) - OpenAI for LLM - Whisper on Runpod for transcriptions
[Sharing on behalf of a friend who had trouble posting, he will take the comments!]
