Show HN: I built an AI-powered children's book generator for my 2-year-old

2 pointsby y143 months ago
Hi HN,
After selling my company to a big tech firm and spending a few years there, I finally had the chance to take a break and spend time with my 2-year-old. Watching him grow has been incredible—everything fascinates him, from butterflies to dreidels (yes), and lately, airplanes.
I noticed how much children’s books stimulate his imagination. Sometimes, a simple story about a lost pacifier would completely captivate him. That got me thinking: what if he could hear stories that are personalized to his life and experiences?
So I built Imagine Books—an AI-powered children’s book generator that creates custom stories based on a child’s world. It leverages LLMs, agentic workflows, and my background in building production-grade AI.
Hope you find it as fun as we do! Would love to hear your thoughts.
