Ask HN: Run crontabs(shell scripts) in Windows 10?

2 pointsby shivajikobardan3 months ago
Are there additional softwares for it? I am familiar with Linux'es. I am looking into something which keeps running automatically. I am happy with something inside a virtual machine, but that virtual machine(that uses rocky 9) should run regularly on boot.

Are you looking for the Task Sheduler? <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;learn.microsoft.com&#x2F;en-us&#x2F;windows&#x2F;win32&#x2F;taskschd&#x2F;about-the-task-scheduler" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;learn.microsoft.com&#x2F;en-us&#x2F;windows&#x2F;win32&#x2F;taskschd&#x2F;abo...</a>

there is some functionality builtin to windows. It should do what you need without running a full vm on your host.
