It&#x27;s interesting (but perhaps predictable) that Google are still allowing existing affiliate tracking data to be overridden by extensions like Honey, just for applying a slight discount.<p>With the conversion rate already so high at the checkout screen where coupons are applied, it seems hard to make the case that snagging the referral from the original referring party is fair.
