I work from home and maintain multiple “desks” scattered around my house—some indoors, one outside—and I'm tired of hauling my Mac laptop and peripherals back and forth. My ideal setup would be a central server hosting my entire workstation, allowing me to connect from each station with just a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.<p>I'm currently using Parsec, but it feels like it still requires a fairly powerful client. Does anyone know of a leaner solution—something that doesn’t demand a heavy GPU on the client side—while still offering responsiveness and a solid remote desktop experience? Any ideas or real-world anecdotes would be greatly appreciated!
