Not to be overly pessimistic but for now, I&#x27;ve seen them mostly create more crap we don&#x27;t need at a much faster rate.<p>Not entirely sure we&#x27;ve predicted the future well here. I can for sure see a future where the problem is going to be oversupply of ill fitted solutions.

What happened to the techno optimistic abundance of everything that the VCs and tech founders were shilling?<p>&quot;...the lifting of billions of people out of poverty to share in the new technologies, a renaissance of liberal democracy and human rights.&quot;<p>So we lift billions out of poverty by replacing everyone&#x27;s jobs? Abundance of unemployment?<p>Also what happened to the narrative of &quot;There will be new jobs made with AI&quot;, I am struggling to understand how can there be new jobs in AI when AI can literally replace it faster than the job was created.<p>Are there any employers in the market for hiring Prompt Engineers for $250K+?<p>Anyone?
