I wish they would say what 95% AI written really means, what is the 5%? Presumably 70% of the code is library code right?
But it’s also 25% is 95%, is this the most high tech companies? Just landing pages?
And the maybe another interesting question. Is the AI writing more code? So like, maybe the 5% is more like 20% of the code that a human would write, there’s just four times as much code.
I’m excited about this (maybe not as excited as I would be by the same benefits in construction or manufacturing) but as someone who’s trying to do more AI assisted coding on my side projects, it probably is like having a front end developer at my disposal which is cool, but if I’m only writing 5% of the code, it’s the 80/20 rule 5% it’s not that it takes me 1/20th of the time.

Good to know which companies to go after for security bounties. There will be a feast.
