To better promote our OSS, we needed more detailed insights into our GitHub metrics. The GitHub Web UI doesn’t display the daily increase in stars, and both the Web UI and API only offer traffic data for the past 14 days.<p>To address this, we created a Google Apps Script that accumulates data daily in a Google Sheets. This allows us to track repository growth trends over time and analyze engagement more effectively.
