I've been having an issue where I want to build my credit score from outside the US but couldn't find a way to do it so I thought I'd have a go at making a credit card that you can use in your home country and is reported to US credit agencies. Just wanted to see if there was interest in this from anyone else first?
US credit reporting agencies use Social Security Number (SSN) as a primary identifier. Generally only US citizens and permanent residents have SSNs. Credit reporting also uses US residential address. I don't think foreigners can just start a credit reporting.<p>I will put aside the complexities in banking and regulation involved in "having a go at making a credit card."
