Talk is cheap. If noone has so far succeeded to build any industrial process capable of sitting around most of the time waiting for cheap energy that had economical sense...what makes this different? Every industrial process has huge overhead when it's constantly turned on and off on schedule. The less predictable the schedule is, the worse.
