Honestly, I have lost any real trust or faith in the US economy at this point. I'm not even sure about basics like FDIC insurance anymore.<p>I'm actively looking for a safer place to store my money that is less directly exposed. I'm not at all comfortable with US banks or investment vehicles at this point.
