I think, at this point, I&#x27;m no longer interested in joining a social media site or forum that is profit-motivated in some way. Like I&#x27;m only really on Lemmy these days or HN. I deleted my reddit account when the recommendation algorithm started to just serve me outrageous and angry content. I deleted Facebook and Instagram after Zuckerberg started kissing the ring with the white house.<p>I just think that more websites that sell tons of ads and whose administrators are more motivated by gathering eyeballs than building a community is not the solution to our problems with big tech
