TL:DW - I did my research on looking for the "best" robot mower and found Mammotion's. The sad thing is the hardware is great but the firmware and app let the user down at literally EVERY step of the way. Here were the low points.
1. Not once over 3 months of use was the mower able to start, mow and complete a job. Often stopping for so reason but somtimes just hitting a tree or getting too close to an edge would make it pause until I came and got it.
2. You have to drive the robot along the perimiter of the lawn, it sounds easy and should be but after trying it 10-15 times NEVER was I able to get the full lawn outline. It would always have some random error or the app would just stop and reset. This was the WORST part of the app.
3. Customer servervise was nice and tried to help but there was nothing they could do but apligize when I called in and tell me to "wait for an app update" that has never come.
