UI components&#x2F;widgets. I wish we had something like Material UI or Radix built-in to the standards for people to compose pages out of building blocks with. Things like async autocomplete fields with love previews (think Google search or Typesense) should be a simple HTML component.<p>That, and a good WYSIWYG editor that supports modern frameworks and understands component trees. Like a Figma for real React components.<p>I miss Dreamweaver and Frontpage. And especially Visual Studio. Building basic web UIs shouldn&#x27;t be this hard. So many businesses and sites have similar needs but everyone ends up reinventing so much of it from scratch.
