Though I've been building JavaScript web apps on the side. And would say I understand it well. I still have a hard time really grasping what the landscape is like for JavaScript developers looking for work.<p>JavaScript seems to be achieving the status as the universal language of programmers...(Do you know english sir?). But there are now so many tools being built on top of JavaScript, and all fighting for attention, is there any place for the really good pure JS guy?<p>Edit: Don't get me wrong. I'm not against any frameworks. I just wonder is their such a separation that the CoffeeScript guy should just stick to coffeescript and Backbone.js guy stick to only those positions.
