I loved these books when they came out but the more time that has gone on it seems that much of the authors' data turned out to be statistiaclly insignificant and they took liberties with their conclusions. I always thought there was somehting seriously wrong with Steven Dubner, just his child-like "I-dont-know-anything" facade is a litle silly after 20+ years of it.

This along with the downfall of Malcolm Gladwell makes it feel like scoundrels have been being raised up in society for a long long time. How many people’s economic views are based around these guys? They were all over everything for a decade.
