I know there is actual data and then there’s “anecdata,” but it’s hard to reconcile the “jobs go unfilled,” and the experience I know of everyone actually looking for a job right now (and having just recently finished looking myself).<p>It was bleak out there. Hundreds of applications for a handful of interviews. Maybe a few rejection emails. Mostly silence.<p>The actual data may not back me up here, but it feels like the worst job market since I started my career ~15 years ago.
