Mark Zuckerberg says ads will soon be handled by AI

I was recently setting up some ads and I was surprised that something like this wasn’t already possible. Are there any platforms where it is?
Apart from that I it wouldn’t really work until a couple of years from now when image generators get a bit better than gpt-image and it’s really impossible to tell what’s AI and what’s real. Even now it’s very obvious when something is created using gpt-image.
But after that think that when the vast majority of ads are AI they will start to look cheap to people. The ad for a $200 million movie will look the same quality as for a student film, an ad for a bedroom-run dropshipping shirt brand (if these exist in two years) will be like an ad for Nike. At the moment an expensive ad is kind of like proof that a business has a lot of money to pay for it, so businesses will need some other kind of method to imply their legitimacy and success.

That's a relief. While it seems a great waste of resources to have to have AI watch adverts for me, it's worth it the way online has become.

Good to know, I'll file this along with all the predictions Zuckerberg made about the Metaverse.
