This was hard to follow without clicking on the links. This linked post contained a sampling of criticism. Most of the criticism seemed to be that it was inappropriate to use LLMs to run a sci-fi writing convention because LLMs have been trained on authors’ content. A minority of criticism was about potential inaccuracies. “The upcoming Seattle edition of the World Science Fiction Convention, or Worldcon, used AI to help vet program participants.”<p>Why is that resignation-worthy?<p>I feel like the article implies that ChatGPT was used more broadly but never gets around to saying how.
