So I'm old enough to remember my very first encounter with a computer, it was an Intellivision console at a frieds-of-my-parents-we-seldom-visited house.<p>We played Armour Battle and B17. I was hooked. I mean first-time-heroin hooked. Ironically I never actually played Intellivision again.<p>Some months later we got an Apple 2 at home, and I read the book it came with (on writing code in basic.) That was more than 50 years ago. (Wow that makes me feel old...)<p>It's unusual to live and work through the very genesis of an industry so I feel very blessed. It's really hard to convey how far we've come, and yet how much further we might still go.<p>Tip of the hat to Intellivision though. I only ever saw you once, but once was all it took.
