I know it&#x27;s early but it feels like these variants really downplay the price difference between IAP and web. They are testing <i>different payment screens</i> too, they never simply measure &quot;pay $69.99&#x2F;year with IAP&quot; against &quot;pay $49.99&#x2F;year on our website&quot;.

Is there a reason that WebView in the app for the purchase wasn&#x27;t tested instead of shifting the user to Safari and back?

Data shows web paywalls convert 30-50% worse than IAP (RevenueCat&#x2F;Stripe). Unless your LTV &gt;$500, that attrition costs more than Apple&#x27;s 30% cut.
