Discuss: Should tattooing the correct answers on yourself be considered chating?

1 pointsby a1aabout 12 years ago
Google Glass kind of makes this question relevant.
Consider a student entering a final examination with the correct answers covering his arms. Should the rules allow to take the exam? I would say 'yes'. Why: I'd say it doesn't really matter if you remember via your brain or via your tattoos. The person will forever be able to answer this question correctly. Does it really matter how he does it? Also if he passes the exam by just reading the stuff he could have possibly tattooed on himself the exam is indeed worthless.
To connect the dots if you don't get why this is 'glass' related: The people wearing Google Glass will not need to remember via brain, they will remember via glass, not unlike the tattoo-guy.
I think this question will be very relevant in the future. We will still need to know some facts, else it will be impossible to grasp the concepts themselves.
To repeat the question: Should it be cheating?
