Cube (YCW12) is looking for mobile and web interns.
About Us:
Cube makes it easy for developers to accept in-person card-present payments within their applications. We've been growing 100% month over month.
Founded to be the best point of sale, we had to build our own payment platform because no one made it easy for us to quickly onboard merchants to accept in-person card-present payments.
To solve our own problem, we developed the ability create real merchant accounts for our users in less than 60 seconds, process card-present and card-not-present transactions with an encrypted reader, and disburse funds to merchants' bank accounts all from one platform. Now, we're extending that ability to developers.
The Market:
Did you know that $3.8 trillion in credit card transactions are processed each year? Of that, 5% is e-commerce, 5% is mobile, and 90% are in-person card-present transactions.
The Role:
We're looking for motivated mobile and web interns who want to spend the summer hacking as part of a very small team. We'll cover all the annoying things, like food and rent, so you can concentrate on building, learning, and networking with peers around the Bay Area.
Who We're Looking For:
Mobile Engineers
- Strong C or Java programming skills.
- Good taste in design. You don't have to be a designer, but you should take pride in your craft.
Web Engineers
- Good taste in design.
