Ask HN: Any news/speculation on next-gen Chromebooks?

I want to buy a $250 Samsung Chromebook, but they were released last year. Does anyone know when we can expect updated versions of these, or any Chromebook in general? Do you guys think it would be worth waiting some time instead of buying now?
