All the paperwork seems pretty hi-fi, but it turns out that the glade interface written in python calls up little 4-liner shell scripts to change from powersaver mode to performance mode... the sad part is, the person didn't know about CPU Scaling Frequency Monitor applet (<a href="http://twitpic.com/5od6h/full" rel="nofollow">http://twitpic.com/5od6h/full</a>) in gnome that is there since 2004. And who could complain more about the Power History graph (<a href="http://twitpic.com/5odjg/full" rel="nofollow">http://twitpic.com/5odjg/full</a>)<p>I wonder if there is a way to make such people aware that what they're are going gaga over is already implemented and what is made there is something insignificant to be included in any repo. That's why maybe this little overdo is getting hosted on Microsoft's open source initiative/crap - codeplex
