CoreOS internships

1 pointsby polviover 11 years ago
We're looking for folks that are interested in hacking on distributed systems or systems level programming. Most of our userland code is in Go. Our systems level stuff is in C. Everything is Linux.
If you're up for the challenge, we'll throw a hard problem at you and help you get it out into the wild. This is exactly what Xiang did, the primary developer on etcd:

https://github.com/coreos/etcd

About you:
- You love to write software, and write it fast.
- You're very comfortable with Linux. Maybe you run it on your laptop, or have used Gentoo in the past.
- You love, understand, and want to hack on open source software and work with open source communities.
- Your favorite languages are C or Python, but you've been tinkering with Go recently.
If you are interested in interning in the summer of 2014, or anytime in between, please send us a note. Include something about yourself, your background, and any links to code you have written that you can share.

partners@coreos.com

Internship are paid. Located in San Francisco. Housing assistance will be provided.
-Alex
