I am one of the techical staff for a low-volume national newspaper.<p>For some of our editorial work, we are considering a software solution for managing the editor and reporter communication and for organizing the workflow.<p>I made a Google search and come up with two hosted custom solutions. But they are expensive given that we might not gain any productivity boost.<p>As we are keen on using open source solutions, we would like to know if there are any open source or custom paid solutions.
