Crowdtilt is looking for an online marketing manager to take our online user acquisition to the next level. We’re one of the fastest-growing startups in the valley, and aspire to grow even faster.<p>To accompany the awesome virality and word of mouth that happen organically with Crowdtilt, we’re looking to amplify our online acquisition channels. You will design, manage, and grow these marketing initiatives from their inception. You’ll execute on both “things that don’t scale” as well as refine sustainable acquisition channels.<p>You should live and breathe data, yet have a creative side to you that allows you to come up with engaging copy, eye-catching designs, and snickering punchlines. Most importantly, you know that a metrics-driven approach, superb execution once a decision is made, and meticulous testing are the only way to build a successful acquisition channel.<p><i>The role</i>
● Build, manage, and optimize online marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition for Crowdtilt web, mobile products and extended products
● Develop our analytics, dashboards, and reports to build internal intelligence on channel effectiveness and other key metrics
● Allocate spend across ad networks (i.e. mobile ad networks, Facebook, other creative channels), vendors, and partners
● Work with designers and vendors to create and optimize creative
● Identify new opportunities and strategies for niche markets
● Build out the marketing function of our team as we grow<p><i>A good candidate possesses the following qualifications</i>
● You have 2-5 years of online marketing experience with a web service, a handful of successfully completed marketing campaigns and hundreds of failed ones
● You love numbers, are comfortable with SQL, and have worked with a myriad of analytics packages (Tell us your favorite!)
● You use both sides of your brain and can jump from analysis one minute to creative copywriting the next
● You’re a humble team player, know how to get an idea off the ground, and can articulate your thoughts to one person as clearly as to a hundred
● You have a testing, results-driven mindset and can design experiments that are only worth your time because they have a high likelihood to improve conversions
● You know that results are the only thing that will define your success in this position
● You thrive in fast-paced startup environments and can be scrappy + resourceful while
also bringing structure to them
