Ask HN: Does Django work out-of-the-box with GAE and Cloud SQL?

Does Django work out-of-the-box with Google App Engine and Cloud SQL? I know that GAE's built-in data store is not compatible with Django, but is Google's Cloud SQL service a sufficient replacement such that a Django app will work without significant modifications?
