We're a really small team hacking on a combination of systems programming and distributed systems. Everything we produce is open source, and all new code development is done in Go.
You can see all of our projects here:
https://github.com/coreos/
We really need help from talented programmers that are interested in writing backend, low level, software in Go.
Some examples:
https://github.com/coreos/coreinit - A system that ties together systemd (via dbus) and etcd.
https://github.com/coreos/go-namespaces - Some fun experiments in using linux network namespaces natively from go.
https://github.com/coreos/etcd - Our distributed key value store.
We don't pay that well, but we have great benefits. We are handing out large chunks of equity to our employees, and a tiny bit to investors (Sequoia and A16Z).
We are based in the Mission in SF, and would like to find teammates that can join us locally.
If you're interested, email our CEO directly: alex.polvi@coreos.com
