We've just updated HN Search (https://hn.algolia.com) by adding a "Follow story" page. Basically, it just performs a "Sort by date" + "story:STORY_ID" query which retrieves all the comments of a story and raises an (optional) desktop notification as soon as a new comment is indexed.<p>Give it a try following this story: http://hn.algolia.com/follow/7139223<p>PS: btw, did you notice that we added auto-completion on "author:" queries?
