We are now over 500k+ hackers across the world and growing at a healthy rate.
We want to build the greatest and most engaged network of hackers and keep it free forever. As a company, we make money ($1MM+) by selling a white-labeled version for companies (hackerrank.com/x) who use it to host their private programming contests and identify the best programmer to hire.
Crowdsourcing
Every hacker has a type of challenge that they love, whether they are coding at their level or pushing their limits and learning something new. We're building a large collection of real world challenges in various domains of Computer Science. The challenges themselves are sourced from top hackers, professors, and companies who work in that domain.
Responsibilities
[1] Write & interact with top hackers on interesting things they have done - content that appeals to the community There are a lot of challenges created from various sources. We'll need to ensure that the problem statements are crisp, easy to understand by anyone even without a CS background - at the very least they should know what is being asked.
[2] At the end of every hackathon or a contest, write a detailed blog post on different solutions, approaches, algorithms used to solve the challenge in collaboration with hackers who set the problem or solved it during a contest.
[3] Interview top hackers on their approach to coding and feature inspiring stories (https://www.hackerrank.com/blog/jinfu) - there are tons hidden. and many more..
Skills
[1] Love for Computer Science - a CS degree is not essential but it's good to have.
[2] Great english language skills and an ability to articulate a complicated concept or phrase in a simple way. You'll collaborate with the best problem solvers across the world and your work will impact ~500k of the smartest hackers in the world!
Interested?
