Excluding the morality of her political background for now, what can Condi Rice <i>actually</i> offer Dropbox by being on its board?<p>I guess I'm ignorant of how company boards work, and I assume in some vague sense she will "use her connections to get Dropbox some leverage or influence in important circles", but, when you get down to brass tacks, what can someone like Condi Rice actually do for a cloud data storage tech company?<p>And this is not necessarily meant to be focused solely on Condi Rice, this is in general about how <i>specifically</i> do these non-tech board members wield their power to help tech companies?
