I responded to an AirBnB job listing on my university's career website a few months back. I never did hear from them, but what I noticed recently is that I've started receiving spam mail from them advertising rental properties. I would never expect that applying to a job would put me on a mailing list for their product. It seems slightly shady. Is this common practice?
