Videopixie (S11) is looking for a lead UI & UX designer to join our team. Your first project will be redesigning our core product. You will be responsible for all aspects of design, starting from understanding customer needs, to ultimately delivering pixel-perfect designs.<p>You will be one of the first three hires at Videopixie (currently just two founders). It’s likely that in the first twelve months you will touch all facets of our product. You should feel comfortable leading the design process, and guiding non-designers through it too.<p>Videopixie is a marketplace for video production. We connect talented video professionals with businesses who need help making video. We a YC company, with investors including the co-founder of YouTube (Jawed Karim), Jason Calacanis, 500 Startups, and many other great angels. It’s our responsibility to help video producers look good, win clients, and collaborate with them on their project. We’re building tools to help inspire buyers, brainstorm ideas, iterate, and communicate in real-time. They have to be simple, so that video neophytes can use them. They have to be beautiful, and spur creativity. And they have to support the gamut of the video-production workflow.
