LinkedIn has become a running joke among engineers, mostly due to the recruiting spam mails, poorly created 'endorsements' feature and low quality content. I wonder how to improve it so I made this poll asking "What do you find most valuable about Linkedin?"
It's not a horrible service and in the past I've been recruited for good positions through the site. I don't mind the recruiters that much and have been able to use them to my advantage. I turned off the endorsements entirely because they are meaningless and people who are not qualified to endorse just like to click the buttons. Also, I have very little interest in the content feed they keep pushing these days. When I log in I just want to be taken to my profile or look someone up in my connections.
