Ask HN: What cloud management providers would you recommend for sysadmin work?

1 pointsby walden42almost 11 years ago
We're looking to outsource all our server infrastructure setup and management. Amazon has a large list of partners[0] that offer this service, and was wondering if anyone here has experience with any of them.
An AWS rep recommended Cloud Nexa[1] to me, which offers setup/management for 18% of our AWS bill. Does anyone have experience with them? Anyone else with good service and pricing?
Our estimated AWS bill is ~$1000/m, so some providers that have large minimums are out of the question. Our needs is basically to go in and fix things when they break, setup/maintain database replication/failover, etc. Our application requires rock-solid uptime.
Thanks.
[0] http://www.aws-partner-directory.com/PartnerDirectory/PartnerSearch?type=SI [1] http://cloudnexa.com/
