StatusPage is a YCS13 company, currently 5 employees distributed throughout CA, CO, and NC, profitable, and lots of awesome work coming down the pipe. We’re hiring because we want somebody awesome to join the team, to hack on code and tend to boxen with us, and to grow the business and launch a new yet-to-be-announced-super-secret-black-team project. You must be located in (or willing to relocate/commute to) Denver, CO.<p>A little about you as a good candidate:
Strong background with linux systems, running sites with real traffic, and lots of background work.
Experience with Ruby or Python, PostgreSQL or MySQL. Cassandra or Riak would be fantastic.
Battle-hardened ops trench dirt on your face, including on-call response, and a mean desire to sleep through each and every night
Integration experience with third party services and APIs, and ability to build resilient systems that can handle external failures
