I'm helping a school design a robotics/programming curriculum for grades K-8. Part of what I want to do with it is give the kids experience hacking on everyday gadgets as a way to get them into the habit of thinking of technology as something they can control and tinker with, instead of being a magical black box. I want them to develop the "Let's take that apart and see how it works" mindset.<p>Are there any fun hacks/mods you can remember doing to everyday objects (electronic or otherwise) that might be approachable by kids aged 8-14 years?
