1 Year development plan for Straight, a Bitcoin payment processor

While I understand well how Bitcoin works, I do not understand what are practical ramifications of going with Straight instead of Bitpay.<p>Selling BTC manually on some exchange? Some AML&#x2F;KML stuff?
