Ask HN: How to find a job in the Bay Area that is able to relocate from Chile

1 pointsby yayoliusabout 10 years ago
My name is Claudio, i am a Chilean FullStack Developer looking for a Job in the bay area. I have some Chilean friends working in the San Francisco, they say that there are a lot of companies that are able to relocate people from Latin America, because there is a big demand for developers, but i don't know how to find any of those companies, i have tried many job boards, but none of them says any information about that, i have also applied to many jobs in there, but it seems that they obviously prefer people already there.
By the way, we Chileans have access to a "fast track" work visa called H1B1 (http://1.usa.gov/1HhghVx), that is also available to Canadians and Mexicans, so it is easier to manage all the work permits.
