Just fyi, Tai Lopez is the guy who begins his ads by showing off the luxury cars parked in his garage. I've been off AdBlock for a few months, and Youtube has been plagued with his ads for a while now (display ads as well as long video ads) -- they're everywhere. Quite a few Youtubers have even made parodies of his ads. How much is he paying for this, and how is this marketing strategy even sustainable?
May I ask why you've stopped using AdBlock? There are other ways to block objectionable content if you wish to do so, either globally or on a site-by-site basis.
Getting rich quickly is an evergreen topic because 1) we tend to link happiness to money and 2) we all like shortcuts. He is supplying a product to this demand.<p>By spending money on advertisement, he increases the perceived value of his personality which leads to more book sales, more lectures (with higher fees), more YouTube views, etc. Basically, he's building brand awareness of himself, just like the Coca-Cola company does with its products.
