I had an idea.
Somebody should create a service that let users adding tags or descriptions on videos. In this way we help computers in an area in which they don't perform well. Extrapolating informations like humans is not something that computers are able to do for now and when the two spheres of the human mind and the computer efficiency collides, we can harness the best of both worlds at our benefit.
In this way we make videos indexable and make them a content that can be searched through a descriptive approach: there is a video with a cat playing with a ball and a laser and one user add the keytags:"ball laser cat". Searching ball laser cat I can easily find the content. It would be best to have this feature integrated in YouTube, the largest service of its kind, and let the user get involved with a reward system. My current condition doesn't allow me to materialize this idea so I'm posting it here in the hope that somebody will turn it into reality.
