Ultimately looking for text-based news sources, probably RSS but open to other ideas.
Generally looking for daily news, some op-ed is fine, but I need to be able to clearly
define political fact versus 'analysis' contrast NPR versus Fox.
Also looking for 80% US 20% global news.<p>Note: I get my tech news from here and Twitter, mostly.<p><pre><code> Current thoughts / Contenders:

Pros: Great news source all-around.
Superb journalism.
Lots of original content.
Cons: Infrequent updates
2. Reuters: http://www.reuters.com/tools/rss
Pros: Multiple editions.
I can tolerate the ads.
Values neutral.
Cons: Meh?
3. BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/help/rss/default.stm
Pros: Decent global perspective.
Lots of content.
Cons: Lots of filtering needed.
