I really honestly do not get it. Now, not everybody needs to be Stallman, but how can people who know for a fact that more centralized control and tracking is A Bad Thing for a free and open Internet send off resumes happily to work for the big companies who only care about people-as-products?<p>I once read here that there was a certain amount of double-think required to work at Google, or Twitter, let's say, but honestly - are JavaScript analytics and a paycheck more important the ability to use the web ten years from now without being treated as a product or having the ability to your own data?
