After being laid off and having a failed start up, I've been interviewing at companies throughout the US. Most of the interest I've gotten has been in LA and SF, including a couple offers for data scientist positions. I didn't realize how far away I was from the west coast and how long driving there would take. What would you suggest for a cross country trip? Should I take the offer and move? Or just stick to the east coast? One things I'd note is that when I send out my resume, I get a lot of call back from CA companies, but few from midwest or east coast companies.<p>Any suggestions of moving logistics or an impending tech bubble is also appreciated.
